1. Click on Advanced Search

2. Select how you'd like to filter your data
-
We now have the ability to create groups in our filters that apply an AND/OR functionality. So as you see on the left hand side, we can scroll in this column and make all of our selections for our search.
-
You'll see that you can filter by different groups, which populate on the righthand side.

3. Filter by any field that lives within a project
If I wanted to come in and do a search for a specific sales status, marketing status, user, client profile, custom field, any field that lives within a project, I can.

4. First filter group
-
As you make your selections (as many or little as you need), we can see that it populates in real time on the right. You can also see that I have AND options immediately appear where I can continue to build in this first group. All results have to meet both of these criteria to appear in the advanced search. Now, maybe I want to add another filter group under group 1
-
We can see at all times the group that's being edited on at the very top. If I at any point want to go back into a previous group, I can click back into that group and add to that filter.

5. Add multiple groups of filters within your search
-
So down here, I'm going to click add filter group. It's going to now show me group two, and this now resets on the left.

6. Add a second group of filters to apply to the same search.
-
If I wanted to add to a second group of filters, this will perform in the exact same search.
-
It's going to apply a different set of criteria as an OR functionality. So that's going to search the criteria for group 1 OR group 2, and it's going to show me all of those options. This group can be something similar or completely different.

7. A few things to note:
-
The copy button here is if I wanted to copy that group to the second group and continue to build off of that and not have to rebuild each group each time for those very complex, yet possibly similar searches that I may want to do.
-
I also see this trashcan icon so if I need to delete a filter, or entire filter group, I can.
8. Save list, clear, or apply advanced search
-
Once you click apply, it's going to show all projects that have whatever filter criteria you have chosen. So as we can see, this is an opportunity to build very complex combinations in our searches so that we don't have to search for something over and over, but that we can combine multiple searches into one. So now when I click apply, this is showing me both of those groups in the exact same search.
-
We can continue to add more and more specifics to each group and build multiple filter groups to be able to have a very extensive search all in one, instead of multiple searches where it can get very tedious.
-
If I wanted to save this search as a list to reference often and not have to select these filters over and over, I would click the save list button, name it, and then it would appear in your different lists across your project page to quickly reference.
