Connecting Multiple Instances in Vista

In this article, we’ll walk through the new feature that allows you to connect multiple Vista instances to a single Followup CRM system.

Go to the Company Settings section in Followup CRM.

  • Click on the ERP Integration tab.

  • Look for the plus sign (+) next to the Settings button.

  • Click the plus sign.

A new window will open — follow the prompts to establish the connection to another Vista system.

Once completed, a new arrow icon will appear next to the Settings area.

  • Click this arrow to view a dropdown list of all Vista instances connected to your Followup CRM system.

Next to each connected Vista instance in the dropdown, you'll see a pencil icon ✏️.

  • Click the pencil icon to rename the instance to something clear and recognizable for your team. This name will appear throughout the system, making it easy to identify which instance you're working with.

  • Click on any individual connection to open its settings.

From there, set up the module mappings specific to that Vista system.

  • Repeat this process for each additional instance as needed.

Once all Vista instances are properly connected and module mappings are complete, the system will function just like it would with a single instance. However, there’s now one initial step when pushing data: you’ll need to select which Vista instance you want to connect to.

For example, when working in a Project

  • Click the Vista Options button.
  • Then choose Push to Vista.

  • A prompt will appear asking you to select the Vista instance you want to send this project to. 🏢

After selecting the instance, the system will load the connection and display any required prompts or notifications. 🔄

Complete those as usual, and the project will be pushed to the correct Vista instance. ✅

The same process applies when working with Companies and Contacts:

    • Click Vista Options, then Connect, and then Push to Vista.

  •
    • Again, you’ll be prompted to select the correct Vista instance.

    • After that, the rest of the process is identical to the single-instance workflow.
