How to Push & Sync Service Sites in Sage 100 Contractor

This guide explains how to connect Service Sites in Sage 100 Contractor with your Followup CRM projects. You can create service sites from a Followup project, update an existing one, or sync an existing site from Sage 100 into a Followup project.

 

 

Setting Up the Service Site Mapping in Company Settings

 

Access the ERP Integration Settings

  • Go to Company Settings.

  • Open the ERP Integration tab.

Add the Service Site Mapping

  • Locate the Service Site Module for Sage 100.

  • Click Add Mapping.

  • The module will now appear in the dropdown list.

Configure Field Mapping

  • Open the mapping configuration window.

  • Set up the fields you want to sync.

    • Fields can sync bi-directionally, pull from Sage, or push to Sage.

    • Code and Name are required by Sage 100 Contractor.

    • All other fields are optional.

  • Save and close the mapping window.

Creating a Service Site from a Followup Project

Start the Service Site Creation

  • Open the project you want to connect.

  • Click Create Service Site.

Choose the Contact

  • A dropdown will appear with available contacts.

  • These contacts come from the Company Information section on the project.

  • If the contact has not been synced with Sage, sync the contact first.

Create the Service Site

  • Click Create Service Site again to confirm.

  • Followup will:

    • Use your mapped fields to send data to Sage.

    • Reload the page once the site is created.

  • A confirmation message will display the new Service Site ID.

Verify in Sage 100 Contractor

  • Open Sage 100 Contractor.

  • Go to Service Receivables.

  • Locate the new service site by ID or name.

Updating an Existing Service Site

Make Edits in the Project

  • Update any fields on the Followup project that are part of your field mapping.

Sync the Update

  • Click Update Service Site.

  • Your changes will sync based on your field mapping rules.

Syncing an Existing Service Site from Sage into Followup

Initiate the Sync

  • Open your project.

  • Click Sync Service Site from Sage 100.

Search for the Service Site

  • Search by Service Site ID or Customer Name.

Select the Correct Site

  • Choose the service site from the search results.

  • Click Next.

Complete the Sync

  • The system will sync the selected site.

  • The project will reload and update based on your mapped fields (e.g., name, address).
