Alphanumeric Characters in Project IDs

Enable and edit custom project IDs to include both letters and numbers for more flexible project tracking.

 

  1. Open Project Settings
    Go to the project where the Custom Project ID feature is enabled.

  2. Edit the Custom Project ID
    Click the Project ID tab to open the editable field.
    🖊️ You’ll now be able to enter both letters and numbers.

  3. Enter Your Alphanumeric ID
    Type your preferred ID — for example, T123 or BUILD-A1.
    ✅ You can mix letters and numbers in any format.

  4. Save Changes
    Once saved, your new alphanumeric project ID will appear at the top of your Project Page and across all related sections in Followup CRM.
