How to add a Percentage field

Create a Percentage field, set min/max and decimal rules, and save values automatically formatted with a % sign.

 

 

  1. 🔢 Select field type → Number

  2. 🔽 In Number format dropdown → choose Percentage

  3. ⚙️ Set Minimum value → example 1

  4. ⚙️ Set Maximum value → example 100

  5. 🔢 Set Max decimal places → 4

  6. ➕ Add the Percentage field

  7. 📄 Open Project page → scroll to Project custom fields → find Percentage field

  8. ✏️ Type number into the field

  9. 💾 Click Save

  10. 🔒 Percentage = value displayed with % sign

  11. 🔄 % sign disappears when editing, reappears after saving

  12. 🔢 Decimal places limited to configured max

  13. 🧾 Example → typing 45.67891 → saved as 45.6789%
